ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE for Medi-Terra Incognita, an established venue for up-scale functions and events in Menteng, Central Jakarta area.

Medi-Terra Incognita operates two high-end venues, the Morocco House and Casa Andalucía, which are located in the heart of Jakarta.  We cater to all kinds of functions, from intimate to corporate, and for various purposes:  product launching, private dinners, meetings, seminars, high teas, exhibitions, weddings, etc.  We are known for our unique designs and high-standards in services and qualities.  We therefore seek individuals who strive for perfections and continue to aim for higher goals.

Position Summary:

·      Engage directly with end customers to position our property as the venue of choice for various events and functions.

·      Develop relationships to drive profitable new businesses and market penetration into the Corporate Market.

Primary Role Responsibilities:

·      Meet committed revenue target.

·      Develop sales in named accounts (both existing and new customers).

·      To liaise between end users and the management office.

·      Joint sales calls to end user customers.

Key Skills & Experience:

·      Strong selling skills.

·      Industry connections.

·      Requires excellent interpersonal skills.

·      Able to work in team and under very tight schedule.

·      Target Oriented.

·      Commission Motivated.

·      Excellent in both English and Indonesian -- oral, written, presentations.

·      Ability to interact with business people at all levels from operational to executive levels.

·      Flexible work hours.

·      Familiar with MS office, using the Internet, and emails.

·      Minimum of 2 years experience in at least a four-star hotel.

·      Minimum of 2 years experience in the event organizing, PR, banquet or other related experience.

·      A plus for having a personal transportation.
